Description
The Mennonite Hour was the official radio broadcast of the Mennonite Church. It began in 1951 and continued through the 1960’s. It was a half hour program that featured a short sermon and acappella singing by the Mennonite Hour Chorus. The chorus was generally made up of students from Eastern Mennonite College. In recent years, the musical recordings from the program have been re-mastered and released on music CDs. Nevertheless, it should be remembered that these are older recordings from the 50’s and 60’s.
