This teaching, as many others from this site, enabled me to take down numerous Scriptures from my mental shelf, because now they fit with the rest of what God says on the subject. And I stress that David Bercot did not persuade me. The facts he presented did. I now see that salvation is not a “gift” that transfers ownership: something that God has, then gives to me and He no longer has it. Rather this gift is His kind provision of a relationship with my Creator, of being grafted into the Vine and becoming partaker of the divine nature. But this relationship is two-sided – I have responsibility live a life pleasing to Him, to love Him back. This realization was a life-changer for me. Recommended.
Everyone should listen to this. It is an excellent teaching about what a Christians relationship with the Kingdom of GOD and the kingdom of the world should be.
