David Bercot. The essence of Christianity is an obedient love-faith relationship with Jesus Christ. Since the days of the apostles, very few Christians have had such an obedient love-faith relationship with Jesus, as did Francis of Assisi. Born into a wealthy family in medieval Italy, Francis gave up wealth and honor for the kingdom of God. He was even disinherited by his father. However, he and his band of brothers preached the gospel of Jesus throughout Europe and set an example for all Christians on what it means to truly live by the Sermon on the Mount. Francis even preached Christ to the Muslim sultan of Egypt.
Francis’ life is not only inspiring and challenging, but it teaches us much about God’s grace and His love for all people.

I am so glad I listened to these. Excellent. I would like to be where he was in my walk with Christ. He loved God and his whole life was changed.
This was a wonderful and accurate message about a man who lived the gospel message like very few in history have. I am a Franciscan in the Orthodox Anglican Society of St. Francis and I have ordered many copies of these CDS to give to my friends and fellow brothers in the order.
I would have always looked at Francis of Assisi as a heretic. Only because the RCC venerated him as a saint. When I listened to these messages I was finally allowed to see a glimpse of the real man. I think it is so unfair that many evangelicals be allowed to consider this man a heretic burning in hell right now. Information like this needs to get out there.
