Description
D. Bercot. Sadly, what most of us were taught about the Apocrypha are myths. In these messages, Bercot sets the record straight. Some of the things he explains are:
1. The scribes and Pharisees rejected these books only at the close of the first century.
2. These books were originally part of the Christian Old Testament canon.
3. The early Christians quoted from these books over 400 times in their writings.
4. Luther took these books out of the O.T. as part of his scheme to re-make both the O.T. and N.T. canons.
5. The Anabaptist strongly embraced these books.
Bercot also answers the most common objections made to these books and explains the blessings we miss when these books are absent from our Bibles.
