Description

One of the questions David Bercot is frequently asked is: How do we know that the early Christian writings haven’t been tampered with? Can we really put our complete confidence in their authenticity? In this message, Bercot explains how we know beyond a reasonable doubt that the early Christian writings are authentic and tamper-free. He presents many proofs, including a number of important doctrinal and lifestyle issues taught by the pre-Nicene Christians that contradict what the church taught after A.D. 325. He also points to the testimony of Eusebius, who wrote his Church History shortly after the close of the pre-Nicene era. In addition, Bercot explains how difficult it would have been for any person or church to have doctored all of the existing copies—which by 325 had circulated around the known world. This message was originally presented as an audio CD. That audio recording has now been transcribed and is available to read as a Kindle e-book.
