Description

Review by David Bercot: “Along with Strong’s, this is the Bible reference tool that I personally use the most. It’s unlike any of the other interlinear Bibles that I own. That’s because—instead of having the Greek text and the Greek word order on the top line—it has the English text on the top line, in normal English word order. Underneath each English word, there appears the corresponding Greek word—written in both the Greek alphabet and in the English alphabet. “For the more serious student, the next line sets forth the “parsing” information for each Greek word—the part of speech, the noun case, the verb tense, etc. Finally, there is included the Strong’s number for each word. “I am neither a Greek scholar, nor even well-versed in Greek, but with this tool, I can easily (1) see the underlying Greek text, (2) determine all the alternate ways of translating a given verse, (3) pinpoint where words have been unnecessarily added by the translators, and (4) where translators have been dishonest. It has been a huge help—not only in my Bible study—but also in my early Christian studies. “Since I generally use the NKJV, I would have preferred that the underlying Greek text was the Textus Receptus, instead of the Nestle-Aland. But in normal use, it rarely makes the least bit of difference. I highly recommend this work.”
